Mumzy

Your privacy, in plain words.

The short version: Mumzy collects nothing. The app has no internet connection, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything it knows lives on your phone and nowhere else — this page you're reading makes no third-party requests either.

What data we collect

None. Mumzy does not collect, transmit, or receive any data. The app contains no networking code, requires no account or sign-in, and includes no analytics or crash-reporting tools.

To do its job — showing you a scheduled reminder — Mumzy stores three small settings on your device, in Apple's standard UserDefaults storage:

  • Reminder time The time of day you chose for your reminder
  • Reminder state Whether the reminder is switched on or off
  • Last message The text of the most recently scheduled reminder

That is the complete list. These values never leave your phone.

Sharing with third parties

There is none. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any information with anyone — because we have no information to share. Mumzy contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking of any kind. We do not track you across apps or websites, and there is nothing for you to opt out of.

Retention and deletion

The three settings above exist only on your device and only for as long as the app is installed. Deleting Mumzy from your phone permanently removes all of them.

Because nothing is ever stored on a server, there is no server-side data to request, export, or ask us to delete — deletion is entirely in your hands.

Notifications and withdrawing consent

Mumzy asks for permission to send local notifications so it can show your reminder. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device by iOS.

You can withdraw this permission at any time, in either of two ways:

  • In the app Turn the reminder toggle off — no further notifications will be scheduled
  • In iOS Settings Settings → Notifications → Mumzy, then switch off Allow Notifications

Children's privacy

Mumzy does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since no data is gathered at all, no data about children can be gathered either.

Your rights under GDPR and CCPA

If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another region with data-protection laws, you have rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection to processing.

We honour all of these rights — and in Mumzy's case they are satisfied by design: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct, sell, or delete on our side. We have never sold or shared personal information as defined by the CCPA. If you have questions about your rights, contact us using the address below.

Changes to this policy

If Mumzy ever changes in a way that affects your privacy — for example, if a future version added any form of data collection — we will update this policy before the change takes effect and revise the effective date at the top of this page. The current version will always be available at this address.
